2024 Happy Hour - March

You MISSED out! BWPF's first social event of 2024 was a huge success. It was wonderful to mingle with so many, including BWPF's 2023 Scholarship winner, Vivian Dzimey ACIB, as well as some of our sponsors, like First Citizens Bank (Gisela LoPiano), McCarter & English, LLP (Sarah Smith), Hinckley Allen (Kris Moussette), Barclays (Jaimie Scranton), Masterson Advisors LLC (Kayla MacEwen), Mintz (Christie Martin and Meghan Burke), and TD. And so many others. Thank you all for coming, and we'll see you at the next event!

We had great weather and everyone enjoyed working on their golf skills. Very special thanks to Trisha Filippone for coordinating the golf and our lunch location again this year.

2022 May Happy Hour

We enjoyed seeing everyone at our Boston WPF Happy Hour at the UMass Club on May 25! We even had folks join us from as far as New York and California for the event. Thanks to everyone who attended, and for those who couldn’t, we look forward to seeing you at our next event.

2021 Holiday Event

Boston Women in Public Finance hosted an End of 2021 Happy Hour at the University of Massachusetts Club in downtown Boston on December 15th. The event was a great opportunity for our BWPF members to meet and reconnect as many had not seen each other in person since the 2019 Holiday Party. The evening ended with a few participants sitting down for a “Chat n Chow” dinner. Thanks to everyone who was able to attend, and for those who could not, please keep a look out for future events!

2021 Cradles 2 Crayons Charitable Event

On October 30, 2021, a group of Boston WPF members gathered to donate our time at Cradles 2 Crayons. We spent a few hours sorting and assembling “clothing packs” for clothing-insecure children in the Greater Boston area. Each pack provides a week’s worth of clothes for a child in need. It was a wonderful opportunity to gather together and do something good for our community. It was also fun meeting each other’s kids (who were welcome to participate)!

2021 Virtual Cocktail Class

On June 24, 2021, Boston Women in Public Finance sponsored a Zoom event called the “Liberate Your Palate Virtual Cocktail Class.”  Participants received a cocktail kit, and our host, Ashley Thompson from The Cocktailery, expertly walked us through how to make a Moscow Mule and a Strawberry Basil Margarita.  Both cocktails were absolutely delicious and a great time was had by all!

April 2018: Boston Women in Public Finance and Locke Lord teamed up to host a networking breakfast at Locke Lord’s Boston office on April 4. The event was a great opportunity for current and potential BWPF members to meet and reconnect.
